One home base for the barn group

Show weeks mean early mornings, long days and changing schedules. A private home lets trainers, riders, owners and families keep their own hours while sharing a kitchen, living space and backyard.

The Sunkiss sleeps up to 16 guests in five bedrooms: four king bedrooms plus a bunk room, with three bathrooms.

Evenings after the show ring

Come back to a private hot tub (included at no extra cost), a covered patio, a fire pit and a pool. The chef's kitchen and dining room make team dinners easy.

The private pool is not automatically heated. Optional pool heat is $100 per night, recommended October through May, requires at least 3 days' notice before arrival and must be purchased for the entire stay. The hot tub is included at no extra cost.

Space for family members who are not at the show

Not everyone spends the whole day at the show. The private pickleball and basketball court, putting green, lawn games and game room keep non-riders busy, and Scottsdale's hiking, golf and dining are close by. See our Explore page for ideas with directions from the house.

Planning around February in Scottsdale

February is one of the busiest months in Scottsdale, with spring training starting and the WM Phoenix Open typically held early in the month. Check your dates early once the official show schedule is published.

Pets: dogs are welcome at $125 per dog, up to two; cats are not permitted. Horses are not accommodated at the house.

Who the house suits during show week

Barn groups, owners travelling with family, and friends who come to watch the classes all fit the house well. Four king bedrooms suit couples and adult travellers, and the bunk room gives flexibility for younger riders or extra guests.

Because the whole home is yours, the group controls its own schedule, meals and downtime, within the house rules.

Making the most of a February stay

February days in Scottsdale are often mild, with cool mornings and evenings. Pack layers for early starts and bring swimwear for the hot tub. If swimming matters, request pool heat at least 3 days before arrival; it covers every night of the stay.

Early calls and long days make simple meals at home appealing. Stock the chef's kitchen on arrival, grill outside and gather around the dining table, then finish the night in the hot tub or by the fire pit before another early start at the show.

Travelling with a barn group or family

Barn groups often include trainers, riders, grooms and parents with different start times. Agree on the room plan before arrival, keep a shared show schedule on the fridge, and use the dining room for a team meeting each evening. Confirm the final guest count, up to 16, on the booking calendar so everyone has a bed and nobody is left looking for a hotel room during a busy week.
