Scottsdale Rental with a Private Pool, Optional Pool Heat and Hot Tub
Searching for a Scottsdale rental with a pool, especially for January, February or March? The Sunkiss has a private pool with optional pool heat and a private hot tub that is included at no extra cost. It sleeps up to 16 in four king bedrooms plus a bunk room.
Here is exactly how the pool works: The private pool is not automatically heated. Optional pool heat is $100 per night, recommended October through May, requires at least 3 days' notice before arrival and must be purchased for the entire stay. The hot tub is included at no extra cost.

How optional pool heat works
The pool at The Sunkiss is not automatically heated. If you want warmer water, add optional pool heat for $100 per night. It must be purchased for the entire stay, so a five-night stay means five nights of heat, and it needs at least 3 days' notice before arrival so the water has time to warm.
We recommend heat from October through May, when Scottsdale nights are cooler. In the hottest months most groups find the pool comfortable without it.
The private hot tub is always included, at no extra cost, in every season.
Scottsdale in January
January is one of Scottsdale's busiest visitor months. Days are often sunny and mild, while evenings get cool. It is a popular time for golf, hiking and big events, such as the Barrett-Jackson auction, which typically takes place in late January.
For a January stay, plan on adding pool heat if swimming matters to the group, and use the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings.
Scottsdale in February
February brings spring training, the WM Phoenix Open, which is typically held in early February, and the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show, typically in mid-February. Demand for group lodging rises, so check dates early.
Pool heat is recommended in February. Many groups spend afternoons by the pool and evenings in the hot tub after a day at a tournament, ballpark or show.

Scottsdale in March
March is peak spring-training season in the Cactus League, with warming days and long afternoons. It is also a favorite month for spring-break family trips and friends' getaways.
Pool heat is still recommended in March, especially for early-morning or evening swims.
A day by the pool in the cooler months
Winter and spring pool days in Scottsdale look a little different from summer. Many groups plan a late-morning swim once the sun has warmed the patio, a long lunch under the covered patio, and an afternoon of lounging before the desert air cools at sunset. Evenings move to the hot tub and the fire pit.
If the group includes children or guests who feel the cold, pool heat makes the biggest difference to how much the pool actually gets used. Without heat, plenty of guests still enjoy the hot tub, the sunshine and the rest of the backyard.
Comparing Scottsdale rentals with a pool
Many Scottsdale rentals list a pool, but the details matter for a winter trip. Ask whether the pool is heated, what heat costs, whether it must be booked for the entire stay, how much notice is needed, and whether a hot tub is included. At The Sunkiss those answers are published on this page and on our Plan page, so there are no surprises at check-in.
Also compare the rest of the stay: how many king beds there are, whether there is space for the whole group to eat together, and what there is to do at the house between swims.
More than a pool: the whole backyard
The pool is the centerpiece of a private backyard with a hot tub, covered patio lounge, putting green, lawn games, fire pit and a private sport court set up for pickleball and basketball. Inside there is a chef's kitchen, a dining room, a game room and three bathrooms.
Compared with a hotel pool, a private pool means no chair hunting and no closing time set by someone else, within the house rules.
Live dates, the full stay total, taxes and fees are shown on the official booking calendar before you pay. Nothing on this site is a quote or a promise of availability.
